Networking:
To facilitate
networking, we will have a “Communications Board” available at the
conference, for you to
post information. You may wish to bring a small poster, business cards
or other documents to share with delegates in this way.
Also, please join our online

Presentation Formats:
You are welcome
to bring handouts for your presentation, and encouraged to do so for
Round Table presentations.
Poster
Posters should
be no larger than 3 ft high by 3.75 ft wide. The poster session on
Wednesday, May 13, 2009 will run from 7:30pm-9:30pm (posters should be
up by 6 pm). Posters will be displayed until the afternoon break on
Thursday, May 14, 2009, at which point the second set of posters will be
set up. The poster session on Thursday, May 14 will begin at 4:30pm and
run until 6:00pm, although posters will be available for viewing until
the end of the conference. We will provide velcro fasteners for the
posters.
Oral
Oral
presentations should be planned for 15 minutes, with an additional 5
minutes for questions. Available audio-visual equipment includes:
microphone, LCD projector, and laptop with speakers. Presentations can be loaded on
to the conference laptop 15 to 20 minutes before each presentation
session begins. IMPORTANT: Please save your presentation on a
USB memory device in the
following file format: Powerpoint 97-2003 & 95 Presentation (*.ppt)
This
will reduce the likelihood of any technical difficulties.
Round Table
Round table
presentations are 40 minutes long. Each table seats 8 people. Round
table presenters should prepare their presentations in a way that
encourages dialogue and maximizes the discussion possibilities of the
format. There is no audio-visual equipment available in the Round Table
rooms, but presenters are encouraged to prepare and distribute hand-outs
or other educational materials.
